Is Godzilla - Kaijuu Dairantou still worth playing in 2026?

An arena fighter inspired by the Toho films, Destroy All Monsters Melee pits a fine roster of kaiju, from Godzilla to Mothra, amid fully destructible cities. The pleasure comes from urban chaos and the heft of the clashes, more than from deep technique. The production has aged and fights can turn messy, but the mood stays a blast in company. For a Godzilla fan or a lover of monstrous brawling, the title keeps real goodwill.
