Collector interest

Bandai Namco's Godzilla was widely overlooked at launch and saw little PS3 pressing, leaning mainly on digital in the West. The multilingual PAL disc circulates in small volume, and the mix of a closely followed heritage licence, a paradoxically scarce game and a film-faithful roster has turned a poorly reviewed title into a sought item among kaiju fans. The value therefore comes from a cult licence meeting a limited physical run.
