Collector interest

The North American sequel to Absolute Entertainment's racer, GP-1 - Part II remains a niche NTSC title, harder to find complete than the original yet still without cult aura. Interest hinges on sealed graded and complete clean-box copies, the loose version drawing little demand. As the second entry in a small racing series, it appeals mainly to completists of the late SNES library rather than the general collector; condition, not the title itself, sets its value.

Is GP-1 - Part II still worth playing in 2026?

A direct sequel to GP-1, this Part II is faster and fuller, with more circuits, championship and time-trial modes. Atlus's motorcycle racing formula stays the same, smooth and snappy, but gains no simulation depth. Japan-only, it mainly speaks to those who enjoyed the first game and want an extra dose of two-wheel racing on Super Famicom. An honest, pleasant sequel, more quantitative than truly memorable against the genre's references.
