Is Grinch, The still worth playing in 2026?

Adapted from the film drawn from Dr Seuss's world, The Grinch is a platformer with light stealth where the antihero sabotages the Christmas of Whoville's residents using oddball gadgets. The idea is likable and faithful to the character's tone, but the execution stays stiff, the camera fickle and the level design rather flat. Lacking distinction against the console's benchmark platformers, it mainly suits young players, families and fans of the license after an unpretentious seasonal title.
