Is Gunbird still worth playing in 2026?

A vertical shooter from Psikyo, Gunbird leans on a colourful cast of characters with distinct ships and shots, in a whimsical steampunk world full of humour. The frantic pace, the demanding patterns and the spectacular bosses deliver the snappy experience typical of the Psikyo school. The high difficulty and a short length come as the genre norm. A solid vertical shmup to recommend for fans of scoring, tight patterns and Japanese arcade whimsy.
