Is Heavy Metal - Geomatrix still worth playing in 2026?

Adapted from the world of Heavy Metal magazine, this Capcom title stages an arena duel where two fighters trade fire across enclosed 3D backdrops. The concept, halfway between versus fighting and shooting, is original yet thinly developed, with a small roster and mechanics quickly grasped. Presentation is decent and the action readable in one on one play. Mainly of interest to fans of Capcom rarities and of curiosities tied to the license, it nonetheless runs dry fairly fast in solo.
