Heracles sequel enriched with more quests, characters and systems. Greek mythology remains the backdrop. Still in Japanese. More ambitious than the first and genuinely recommendable.

Is Heracles no Eikou II - Titan no Metsubou still worth playing in 2026?

A sequel to Data East's action RPG, Heracles no Eikou II unfolds a story centred on the fall of the Titans, with more ambitious writing and richer staging. The turn based system and the exploration of mythological Greece gain depth and narrative maturity over the first game. Left in Japan, the title demands the language to appreciate the story. For a fan of mythological retro JRPGs or of the Glory of Heracles series, the title keeps a notable narrative richness and an endearing world.
