A turn based RPG from EA in the Lord of the Rings world, The Third Age follows a band of new heroes whose path crosses the events of the film trilogy. The turn based combat, the skill progression and the ability to capture enemies offer real tactical depth, served by settings faithful to the films. The sometimes slow pace and a linear structure show their limits. A good Western styled JRPG for Tolkien fans and lovers of strategic combat.
