German version of The Two Towers, one of the best action games based on the LoTR licence. Combat is intense and playable with multiple characters including Aragorn and Legolas. An action experience faithful to Peter Jackson's films, highly appreciated on release.

Is Herr der Ringe, Der - Die zwei Tuerme still worth playing in 2026?

EA's first beat 'em up in the Lord of the Rings world, The Two Towers adapts the first two films with snappy sword action, spectacular battle sequences and a rewarding combo system around Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. The cinematic staging and the unlocking of film scenes appeal to fans. The repetition and a slightly short content show their limits. A good action game for fans of bladed combat and of Peter Jackson's films.
