The HD Trilogy collects Silent Assassin, Contracts and Blood Money with a decent visual lift. The best way to revisit Agent 47's golden age, with varying difficulty but a strong stylistic coherence from entry to entry.

A questionable morality

The trade of contract killer is presented here as an art of discretion: disguises, poisons and piano wire, anything to eliminate the target without leaving a trace. You admire the elegance of the hit, and the game even rewards you for tidy work, which amounts to handing out nice grades for paid murders without ever sensing any wrongdoing.

Is Hitman HD Trilogy still worth playing in 2026?

An HD compilation from IO Interactive, Hitman HD Trilogy gathers Silent Assassin, Contracts and Blood Money, three entries in Agent 47's adventures built on stealth, planning and discreet assassination. The freedom of approach, the richness of the sandbox levels and the satisfaction of a perfectly executed contract stay intact, especially in the excellent Blood Money. The remaster is basic and the first two entries have aged. A fine compilation for fans of demanding stealth and methodical murder.
