The Japanese version of Intelligent Qube, a singular puzzle where you erase cubes rolling toward you on a suspended slab, carried by a memorable orchestral score. This original edition appeals to those wanting the native form of a cult Sony puzzle, unlike anything else at the time. Its local run supports a value above the more common Western version.

Is I.Q - Intelligent Qube still worth playing in 2026?

I.Q - Intelligent Qube is an original Japanese PS1 puzzle game by SCEI where blocks fall from the sky onto a platform and must be eliminated by jumping on them to form series. Simple to understand but offering surprising strategic depth, Sony's title stands out with austere art direction, Takayuki Hattori's entrancing score and a meditative pacing. A cult classic to bring out today.
