The costumes tell the story of the regime: the heroes wear militarized outfits, plates and buckles replacing fabric, official insignia sewn on the chest, and the original colors darkened by a notch. The settings span the whole universe, a polar fortress, an island of Amazons, a Gotham asylum, and each throw through a wall opens a new room of the same place.
The starting point is a manipulation: tricked by the Joker, Superman kills the woman he loves and triggers the destruction of Metropolis, then decides a world without crime is worth a dictatorship. The heroes of a parallel universe, called in as reinforcements, therefore face their own doubles turned into a regime's police, and the question raised is that of the limit an all-powerful being sets for himself.

A fighting game from NetherRealm Studios, Injustice Gods Among Us pits DC heroes and villains in 2.5D clashes where interactive arenas and spectacular super moves swing the balance of power. The very polished cinematic story mode, the iconic cast and the deep combat system inherited from Mortal Kombat win over a wide audience. The balance of some characters and the server closure barely temper the enthusiasm. An excellent fighting game for DC fans and lovers of narrative, snappy versus.
