Intrepid Izzy is a recent indie action-platformer in which the heroine swaps costumes to gain new abilities across colorful worlds. Its polished production, expressive pixel art and level design geared toward light metroidvania make it one of the most accomplished of the new Dreamcast games. The pacing and handling hold up against today's standards of the indie genre. A fine proof that the console keeps inspiring modern, carefully crafted creations.
