A top-down shoot'em up with exploration and boss phases. Original and less known than NES's great shooters. Worth attention for its uniqueness and overall quality.

Description
SF vertical shoot-'em-up featuring an armored soldier battling invaders on a hostile planet. Published by Taxan, released in Europe in 1991. Soldier in top-down view shooting in all directions, weapon power-ups and invader bosses. An original vertical shooter on NES.
An isometric shoot 'em up from NTVIC, Isolated Warrior has an armoured soldier fight invaders on a hostile planet, blending shooting and movement in oblique perspective. The unusual perspective, the variety of weapons and the brisk pace give a singular identity to otherwise classic action. The isometric readability takes some adjustment. For a fan of offbeat retro shooters or someone curious about the NES's original concepts, the title keeps a marked visual character and a direct action pleasure.
