A zany parody of Gradius, this Parodius entry hides a very real challenge behind its humor: a profusion of bonuses, oddball bosses and tricky patterns call for adaptation and sharp reflexes. The Konami-style power-up system still punishes losing your ship. As funny as it is demanding, it offers a colorful horizontal shooter that spares no hasty player.
