Capcom's 2D fighting game adaptation of the cult JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. Rich gameplay creatively exploiting Stands, well-represented characters. Capcom's execution is excellent and perfectly captures Araki's exaggerated and flamboyant style. A must-play.

The Japanese version of Capcom's adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, a 2D versus game with sumptuous pixel art and a Stand system faithful to Hirohiko Araki's manga. Renowned as demanding and stylish, this PlayStation port of the arcade game holds a solid value among fans of golden-age Capcom fighters. Desirability blends JoJo's cult status, the CPS-3 craft and the appeal of the Japanese version.

Is Jojo no Kimyou na Bouken still worth playing in 2026?

A Capcom fighting game adapted from Hirohiko Araki's manga, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure pits the saga's heroes against each other with their Stands, those fighting entities of singular gameplay on the CPS-3 system. The gorgeous sprites, the expressive animation and the toggleable Stand mechanic bring real originality to the versus. The PlayStation port shows a few compromises against the arcade. A great brawler to recommend for fans of Araki's work and lovers of inventive 2D versus from Capcom.
