Giant monster combat game between B-movie creatures in destructible urban arenas. The exhilarating city destruction gameplay and kaiju references are excellent. A fun and original title for Godzilla fans seeking an arcade destruction experience on PS2.

Is Kaijuu Daigekisen - War of the Monsters still worth playing in 2026?

A fighting game from Incognito, War of the Monsters pits huge King Kong and Godzilla style creatures against each other in fully destructible 3D urban arenas, where skyscrapers and vehicles become weapons and projectiles. The tribute to 1950s kaiju cinema, the chaos of the fights and the two player fun make it a jubilant, original title. The fickle camera and a degree of repetition weigh a little. An excellent fighting game for fans of giant monsters and destructive multiplayer combat.
