Description
Klonoa sequel on GBA developed by Namco and published in the USA in September 2002. Klonoa competes in the Dream Champ Tournament alongside new characters vying for the ultimate gold medal. Enriched gameplay with new ways to use enemies, varied tournament stages, original bosses and a competitive storyline. American version, third GBA title in the Klonoa franchise.
North American edition of the second GBA Klonoa, distributed by Namco USA under the Klonoa 2 Dream Champ Tournament title with no coherent PAL retail cartridge counterpart, which makes it one of the quietest regional variants in the portable Klonoa catalogue. Namco USA run was short, the North American cardboard box is sturdier than the PAL standard, and a US identified complete copy is sought after by Klonoa collectors looking to round out the regional variants.
An underrated gem
This portable sequel refines the formula and adds rhythmic competition plus new characters, all wrapped in the same lovingly polished package. Its Japan-only status kept it from Western players for far too long. Denser and more generous, it'll delight anyone after a clever platformer unjustly passed over in silence.

For fans of the first and lovers of polished puzzle platforming, this is a sequel more ambitious than it looks.
