Kiki Kaikai Advance on GBA, spiritual successor to Pocky & Rocky. Shrine-maiden shoot'em up still just as charming and demanding. A gem for genre fans and Japanese aesthetic lovers.

Pocky & Rocky with Becky (GBA) price, value & rarity
Pocky & Rocky with Becky is one of the GBA's most coveted shoot-em-ups, its Natsume North American run short against a niche audience that has only grown since. The cult reputation of the shrine-maiden series and the absence of any reissue pushed its complete value among the highest in the console's action catalogue. A flagship piece of the Natsume segment.
Is Pocky & Rocky with Becky still worth playing in 2026?
Kiki Kaikai Advance is a Taito action-adventure in which the Shinto priestess Sayo hunts yokai with ofuda and a purification wand, in a charming Japanese folklore atmosphere. The multidirectional shooting and sustained pace recall the good themed shoot'em ups, and the colorful art direction has aged well. The content stays fairly short and repetitive, however. Kept exclusive to Japan, it will appeal to fans of the Pocky & Rocky series and of arcade action steeped in Japanese folklore, despite the language barrier.
