Description
A futuristic SCEA racer released in 2001, one of the first notable American PS2 productions. Anti-gravity vehicles driven across open arenas, weapon-based combat mechanics and an electro soundtrack by BT and Junkie XL. A direct rival to WipEout, though it remained markedly more under the radar.

Is Kinetica still worth playing in 2026?
A futuristic racer from Sony Santa Monica, Kinetica launches suited riders onto circuits with dizzying loops where gravity lets you ride on walls and ceilings at very high speed. The sense of speed, the science fiction design and the physics engine impressive for its time make it a PS2 technical showcase. The somewhat limited content and a high difficulty weigh a little. A good racing game for fans of snappy futuristic racing and thrills on anti-gravity circuits.
