A Japan-only versus puzzler, Kirby no Kirakira Kids landed on Super Famicom in January 1997, very late in the console's life when print runs were shrinking. Never localised, it exists only in this Super Famicom edition, making it a cult import for Kirby collectors and Japanese-puzzle fans. The SFC cardboard box and spine card are decisive; it is among the harder Kirby SFC titles to assemble clean and complete.
Is Kirby no Kirakira Kids still worth playing in 2026?
A Kirby puzzle game known in the West as Kirby's Star Stacker, where you line up stars between friendly characters to clear them in chains. The system is simple to grasp yet offers real combo depth, carried by the series' usual cuteness. It is an efficient, colourful puzzler, perfect for short sessions or versus play. Recommended to fans of accessible puzzle games and the Kirby universe.
