Knight Rider adapts the cult TV series on Acclaim NES with Michael Knight and KITT on patrol missions tracking criminals. The representation offers pseudo 3D behind vehicle view and indoor investigation phases in a cult TV license formula. Honest for NES license fans, curiosity of the 8 bit Acclaim catalog.

European PAL edition of Acclaim's Knight Rider adaptation, released late 1988. On NES the European run is almost always smaller than the NTSC one, and this in-cockpit KITT racer saw only limited continental distribution. The game's own weakness matters little to the regional scarcity, which rests on the difficulty of finding a complete PAL box. A clearly territorial collecting angle rather than a gameplay one.
