Lady Sia on GBA, an overlooked and genuinely successful action platformer. Badass fantasy heroine, satisfying combos, varied levels. A pleasant surprise for those seeking a lesser-known GBA action adventure.

An underrated gem

An action-platformer led by a warrior heroine, this European title combines swordplay, rallying cries, and imposing bosses with real generosity. An occasionally uneven presentation and nonexistent promotion condemned it to obscurity. Sturdier than it looks, it'll please fans of muscular old-school platforming.

Is Lady Sia still worth playing in 2026?

Lady Sia is an action-adventure in which an elf warrior fights the sorcerer T'soa, who turns humans into anthropomorphic beasts, across a succession of levels mixing platforming and combat. The responsive handling, the heroine's transformations and a sustained difficulty give it a certain character, even if the presentation stays tame and the level design at times uneven. The whole has aged decently. For fans of European GBA action-platformers and tough challenge, it is an honest and pleasant curiosity to discover.
