LEGO adaptation of the first four Harry Potter films, from Ron Weasley to the Goblet of Fire. Hogwarts rebuilt as a central hub full of secrets, character-specific spells, magical classes playable. Condensed but well-paced story, tender pantomime humor, two-player local co-op. TT Games in top form, perhaps their best LEGO thanks to genuine love for the source material. Excellent family pick.

Is LEGO Harry Potter - Years 1-4 still worth playing in 2026?

A LEGO adaptation of the first four books from Traveller's Tales, Years 1-4 transposes Hogwarts into bricks with a castle hub to explore, spell learning and the abundant collecting dear to the series. The silent humour, the fidelity to the films and the two player co-op make it an excellent family game packed with nods. The repetition of the mechanics and a sometimes recalcitrant camera stay the genre's flaws. A very good LEGO for Harry Potter fans, families and lovers of co-op adventure.
