Sequel keyed to the original trilogy, the famous one. Longer, more varied, more generous and still wonderfully accessible. Couch co-op still royal, LEGO humour nicely measured. Arguably the best LEGO Star Wars of the GameCube era.

John Williams's immortal scores, drawn from the original trilogy, wrap every level in an irresistible epic gust. Carefully reprised, they lend the LEGO gags a delightful nobility. This contrast between symphonic grandeur and offbeat levity keeps all its charm.
PAL Rev 1 of LEGO Star Wars II The Original Trilogy is the corrected version of Traveller's Tales's game after LucasArts's first software adjustments. Collector value comes from consistency in a documented PAL LEGO Star Wars shelf.
Is LEGO Star Wars II - The Original Trilogy still worth playing in 2026?
A very successful LEGO adaptation of the original Star Wars trilogy by Traveller's Tales, LEGO Star Wars II offers two player cooperative action accessible to all ages with constant visual humour. The LEGO construction, the many unlockable characters and the playful faithfulness to the films create a particularly successful experience. Visually still very readable, the title remains one of the best gateways to the LEGO formula and an excellent family cooperative game for anyone who has never touched the series before today.
