LEGO Star Wars sequel on the original trilogy (IV-VI), even better than the first. LEGO humor on the classic Star Wars universe is irresistible. Excellent local co-op. A reference family game on Xbox that brings all generations together.

John Williams's immortal scores, drawn from the original trilogy, wrap every level in an irresistible epic gust. Carefully reprised, they lend the LEGO gags a delightful nobility. This contrast between symphonic grandeur and offbeat levity keeps all its charm.

Collector interest

A sequel to LEGO Star Wars, covering the original trilogy and polishing the brick-based cooperative formula with more characters and freedom. Mass-printed in the West, its collecting interest stays low and rests on this rise in quality of a well-liked family line rather than scarcity. An affordable piece for fans of cooperative play and the Star Wars universe.

Is LEGO Star Wars II - The Original Trilogy still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2006, this sequel covers the original trilogy and delivers a clear leap in comfort. The levels reframe the films' great moments, the character creation mode and the Mos Eisley hub are a genuine sandbox delight and local coop becomes more generous in its options. The visual satire of mythic scenes is funnier than in the first entry. Combat remains very forgiving and the challenge limited, as expected from the LEGO formula. A strong pick today for families, fans of the original trilogy and players looking for relaxed local cooperative gaming on Xbox.
