Collector interest
Lingo is one of the most expensive PAL Game Boy titles on the market, its three-figure loose price and four-figure sealed value reflecting extreme scarcity rather than gameplay merit. A word game published by Tonkin House, distributed across Europe in tiny quantities with quadrilingual English, French, German and Dutch text, it has all but vanished from circulation. It is a PAL collector's grail, sought for its legendary difficulty of acquisition far more than for its content.
