Collector interest

A platformer spun off from the Lemmings universe, transposing its little creatures into a more classic 2D adventure by Psygnosis. Its decent distribution, rarer in Japan than in Europe, makes it a curiosity for fans of the franchise and of mid-generation platformers. Its interest lies in this Lemmings link rather than a general scarcity of the title.

Is Lomax still worth playing in 2026?

Lomax is a Psygnosis 2D platformer based on the Lemmings characters. Colourful levels with hybrid gameplay between classic platformer and Lemmings mechanics, the title keeps a charming art direction faithful to the original universe. Precise controls, well-built levels and progressive difficulty. A 2D quality platformer against the 3D race of the era. A genuinely friendly detour today.
