This American edition plays up the comedy of its title with heavier dressing: presentation screens drawn like posters, more prominent dialogue boxes, slightly brighter colours in the futuristic worlds. The game itself is unchanged, but the packaging leans firmly towards the comic strip where the European edition stayed more neutral.
The music selection is that of the European release, unmodified, which lets you appreciate how well the themes withstand repetition: short loops, well chosen timbres, and a variety of registers that avoids weariness on levels where you sometimes linger a very long time. The pieces from the technological worlds remain the most striking.

Under the European title Norse by Norsewest, this PAL edition of Lost Vikings 2 combines two scarcity factors: the SNES end-of-life and an already limited European base, with multilingual box and manual. The Blizzard co-op puzzle-platformer keeps a loyal following, and clean PAL complete copies are noticeably harder to assemble than the US release. Loose it stays fine, but the European complete copy carries the value.

The full European name of the sequel to the future Blizzard's cult puzzle-platformer, where three Vikings with distinct abilities must cooperate to clear each screen, backed by new characters. The ingenuity of the puzzles and the offbeat humour are the real appeal, in a polished 16-bit production. Cooperation between heroes stays a very satisfying mechanism. A smart, witty puzzle-platformer, pleasant to play even today.
