The three Vikings are told apart at a glance by silhouette and prop, horned helm, shield, bow, which makes reading immediate despite three characters being permanently present. The worlds crossed, futuristic factory, prehistory, Egypt, alien vessel, change graphic vocabulary completely.
The initial NTSC pressing of The Lost Vikings is the Silicon & Synapse/Interplay launch edition, predating Rev 1. Its collector value comes from the game's founding position in the Silicon & Synapse (future Blizzard Entertainment) history and from the fact that this first print run contains the original build before the later difficulty adjustments.
