Creative Taito RPG where the player draws their own creatures which come to life and battle. The unique drawing-based customisation concept is charming and original. Less deep than major RPGs but endearing for creative players wanting a personalised combat experience on PS2.

An original Japanese RPG by Garakuda Studios and Agetec released in 2003 (US only), distributed as "Magic Pengel - The Quest for Color." Players draw their own creatures ("Doodles") with a magic pen, which come to life to fight in turn-based arenas. A charming concept and a signature song by Yoko Shimomura.
