GBA follow-up in the Magical Quest series, pairing Mickey and Minnie in a polished Capcom platformer with two-player link-cable play. This trilingual European edition (English, French, German) from 2002 is less common than its US and Japanese counterparts. Desirability rests on the lasting regard for Capcom's Disney platformers and on the relative scarcity of complete PAL copies, sought by collectors assembling the full handheld Magical Quest set.

Is Magical Quest 2 Starring Mickey & Minnie still worth playing in 2026?

Magical Quest 2 Starring Mickey & Minnie takes up Capcom's action-platform formula, where Mickey and Minnie change costumes to gain new powers against a sorcerer. The outfit system, colorful staging and polished handling carry on the studio's know-how in the genre. The adventure stays approachable and rather short, ideal for a young audience or a relaxed session. For fans of retro Disney platformers and 16-bit Capcom, it is a pleasant and well-made sequel, faithful to the series' spirit.
