Is Mana-Khemia 2 - Ochita Gakuen to Renkinjutsushi-tachi still worth playing in 2026?

A sequel to Gust's alchemy RPG, Mana Khemia 2 returns to the Al-Revis academy with two protagonists of interwoven scenarios, a refined synthesis system and more dynamic link based combat. The crafting loop, the school mood and the writing of the classmates keep the series' charm, with slightly more polished staging. The measured pace and the repetition of gathering call for patience. An endearing alchemy RPG to recommend for fans of crafting, student life and gentle JRPGs.
