Collector interest

The initial PAL pressing of Dream Team Bros carries the launch build, identified through the back-of-case serial code. Its collector value grew after the AlphaDream dissolution, which turned each original pressing of their titles into a documentary piece in its own right. The multilingual PAL sleeve keeps the original visual charter before the Nintendo Selects band appeared on later copies.

Is Mario & Luigi - Dream Team Bros. still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2013 on 3DS and known in Japan as Mario & Luigi RPG 4 - Dream Adventure, AlphaDream's project extends the comic RPG series that mixes exploration, platforming and turn based combat built on action timing. The originality lies in Luigi's dream world, where the sleeper multiplies the hero into an army of Luigis for spectacular giant battles. The visual humour, the cheerful pace and the witty writing make for a charming adventure. The invasive tutorials weigh down the start. An excellent accessible RPG, recommended for fans of rhythmic turn based combat and of humour.
