Moving along the board, grabbing stars and fighting for victory in a shower of mini-games that use the remote: waving, pointing, shaking, every trial surprises. Luck jostles skill and reversals draw as many shouts as belly laughs. With four players, it's a guaranteed evening where nobody stays a spectator. Colourful, festive and unpredictable, a party game built to bring people together.
A revised reissue of Mario Party 8 put out on the US and Asian markets, identified by a late revision number. Its collector interest is thin and mostly concerns meticulous collectors who tell apart the successive revisions of a very widespread game, the value resting on that printing detail rather than on strong demand for this widely sold party entry.
