The founding stone of Mario Party. Themed boards, fifty mini-games and proper backstabbing among friends lay down the formula that would take flight. Solo is drier and some mini-games leaning hard on the analog stick left painful palm memories, but the foundation is right here.

The first Mario Party, here in the 1999 multilingual PAL edition (English, French, German). This European release stands out for a contained loose value but a sealed price that soars, the series founder having been heavily played and seldom kept untouched. The localized French printing makes this the most closely tracked branch on the PAL side.
