First Mario and Sonic crossover at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Around thirty athletic events playable with Wiimote, gestural controls varying per discipline. Coherent Nintendo and Sega roster, local multi up to four players. Short and fun mini-games for parties, but limited depth. Solid party title for fans of both universes, provided you accept the gimmicky controls.

Collector interest

The Korean pressing of the first Mario & Sonic, distributed locally under a Korean title in a Wii market far smaller than Japan or the West. Its collector interest comes not from the content, widespread elsewhere, but from this uncommon regional edition with Korean packaging and markings, sought by collectors combing Korea's official Wii releases.
