Mass Effect 3 on WiiU with integrated DLC content and GamePad for inventory. The game itself is an excellent action RPG but the controversial ending remains a sensitive point. Without the first two episodes on WiiU, narrative immersion is reduced.

Blending analog synthesizers and orchestra, the music weaves an epic science-fiction with retro-futuristic accents, from the contemplative "Vigil" to space battles. Each world breathes galactic immensity and the weight of choices. This sonic identity, broad and inspired, elevates the trilogy's space opera.
As Reapers ravage the galaxy, a commander must unite warring peoples for one last, desperate war. The culmination of a trilogy where every choice counts, the tale blends camaraderie, sacrifice and heartrending dilemmas. Despite a controversial ending, its epic breath and its farewells left a mark on the RPG.
The Japanese version of the only Mass Effect to appear on Nintendo hardware, issued as a localised Tokubetsuban for an audience where the series stayed niche. Its collector interest stacks two rarities: the anomaly of a major Western space opera on Wii U, and a Japanese run thinned by the franchise's weak local footing. A target for collectors after the regional full set of a title already marginal in its home catalogue.
Is Mass Effect 3 - Tokubetsuban still worth playing in 2026?
An action RPG from BioWare, Mass Effect 3 Special Edition concludes Commander Shepard's epic against the Reaper invasion, in a space opera carried by endearing characters and choices with heavy consequences. The Wii U version includes the expansions and an interactive prologue, and uses the GamePad for inventory and map. Without the first two entries on the console, the emotional attachment is lessened. An excellent RPG for fans of narrative science fiction and tactical cover combat.
