Is Max Steel - Covert Missions still worth playing in 2026?

Adapted from Mattel's action figure line and animated series, Max Steel - Covert Missions is an action game with light stealth where the secret agent strings together gadget filled missions. Built for a young audience, it stays very simple in design, with modest presentation, a fickle camera and unsurprising level design. The pace runs out of steam quickly and the challenge is slight. Its interest today is limited to nostalgics of the Max Steel license and the curious about era TV tie-ins, with little real play value beyond that.
