The comic pages serve directly as model: introduction panels taken up as they are, the spider-hero's thread-thin silhouette, the red symbiote drawn with its filaments and toothed maw. The New York scenery stacks up in rooftops, alleys and dark interiors, with saturated colours inherited from print.
The soundtrack pushes the chip toward urban rock with biting synthetic guitars, repeated riffs and plain drums that hold the rhythm of the street fights. The themes change clearly with the districts, and the fights against the symbiotes tip toward more dissonant harmonies.
