Is MDK still worth playing in 2026?

A third person shooter from Shiny and Playmates, MDK strikes with its offbeat science fiction world, its hero in a parachute suit and its sniper rifle offering an exhilarating telescopic view. The inventiveness of the level design, the humour and the variety of sequences make it an original, daring title for its time. The dated handling and a sometimes confused readability betray the port's compromises. A singular TPS to recommend for fans of inventive action and offbeat science fiction.
