Capcom action-platformer in the Battle Network series. MegaMan.EXE traverses the Internet, classic 2D platforming levels, action gameplay. Decent execution but high difficulty and limited camera. For Battle Network fans curious about 2D action.

Is Rockman EXE Transmission still worth playing in 2026?
This spin-off straddles classic action-platforming and the chip system of Battle Network, and the seams still show. Difficulty runs steep, the jumping fits awkwardly with the boss duels, and readability suffers. The manga charm and soundtrack hold up, but most players return out of franchise curiosity rather than for the action itself. A worthwhile oddity if you accept its rough edges instead of expecting a polished platformer.
