Fourth Metal Slug with Mega Enterprise as developer instead of SNK. Overall quality is slightly below par and the tone less inspired. Run-and-gun basics are present but the spirit of creative madness is less pronounced. Honest but inferior to the series' original entries.

Description
An SNK Playmore console edition released in 2003-2004 (Korea, US, Europe, Australia, Japan), a port of the arcade Metal Slug 4. The first release without Nazca at the helm (Mega Enterprise/Noise Factory), with two new protagonists (Trevor and Nadia). A slightly cooler reception: the formula keeps its quality but loses its genius.

The explosive formula returns with new heroes, new weapons and fresh settings, faithful to the run-and-gun spirit that made its name. Blasting away relentlessly, hopping from one vehicle to another and laughing at the visual gags delivers an immediate pleasure. As snappy and tasty as ever with two players, a generous arcade blow-off that will delight genre fans.
