A parodic Nintendo RPG, Miitopia casts the player's Miis, friends, celebrities or strangers, in the roles of an adventure where the tyrant Darkside has stolen the kingdom's faces. The gap between the serious RPG framework and the absurdity of improvised casting is the whole appeal, backed by a relationship system between characters. The automated battles and the repetitive structure limit the depth, but the comic charm and the customisation win you over. For a fan of light, creative RPGs or a player after whimsy, the title keeps an irresistible humour.
