Is Minna de Puyo Puyo still worth playing in 2026?

From Compile, the series' creator, Minna de Puyo Puyo gathers several rule variants of the famous puzzle where you stack coloured Puyos to trigger devastating chains. The wealth of modes, from classic to more eccentric variations, makes it an ideal compilation for anyone who likes probing the mechanic from every angle. The clarity and snappiness of the versus stay exemplary. Japan only, the title speaks to the knowing. For a fan of competitive puzzling or of Puyo, the title keeps an intact depth and pleasure.
