Midway MLB arcade baseball, 2004 edition. Licensed MLB players, offbeat TV presentation, on-field brawls, completely uninhibited arcade gameplay. Pleasant alternative to serious MLBs for group nights. Not a sim but unashamed fun.

Is MLB SlugFest 2004 still worth playing in 2026?
A direct sequel to Midway's arcade baseball, MLB SlugFest 2004 extends the over the top formula with an updated roster, flaming special moves and that same gleeful violence alien to simulation. The additions stay minor, but the multiplayer stress relief stays effective. The production has aged without denting the immediate fun. For a fan of unashamed arcade sport or a faithful of the Blitz and SlugFest vein, the title keeps a likeable festive appeal.
