Unique Japanese Sony rhythm game where characters made of kanji and hiragana compete by dancing. The original concept blending Japanese character learning and rhythm gameplay is charming. A creative curiosity mainly accessible to Japanese-literate players.

Description
A Bandai and NanaOn-Sha rhythm game released in 2003 in Japan, by the creators of PaRappa the Rapper. Players spell out Japanese words by hitting the right buttons in time, in a visual world where the characters themselves dance. A clever concept that resisted localization outside Japan, since it can't easily be transposed to other writing systems.
