Is Monopoly Party still worth playing in 2026?

This Japanese take on the famous board game struggles to convince today. The classic rules are faithfully reproduced, but the sluggish interface and endless animations bog down every match to the point of spoiling the fun. The mini-games meant to spice things up stay forgettable. You are better off with the physical box or a smoother modern version. At best a curiosity for collectors of Takara adaptations.
