A Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub-Zero action platform. Midway action platform spin-off centered on Sub-Zero, Castlevania-style platform levels, faithful MK vibe, stiff gameplay. More convincing than Special Forces, recommended for MK Lore PSone fans.

Collector interest

NTSC-U release of the Sub-Zero action-platformer spin-off, out two months before Europe. Identical in substance, it differs through a far wider American distribution: very cheap loose and a notably lower sealed price than the PAL edition. This is the budget gateway to this slice of MK lore, with the PAL version remaining the one collectors chase.

A questionable morality

The tournament is won on skill, but its trademark remains the finishing blow: once your opponent is beaten, the game politely invites you to dispatch them in the most spectacular and bloody way possible. You perform these finishers with the care of a craftsman, turning the kill into a compulsory figure you drill to land like any other combo.
