Mortal Kombat Trilogy compiling the first three entries with extended content. The Saturn port still suffers but the roster and mode offering is generous. For fans of the violent saga.

Collector interest

Compilation gathering the characters of the first three Mortal Kombat games, published by GT Interactive on Saturn in a European PAL edition. Rarer than the standard Saturn MKII, this expanded roster arrived late, in 1997, as the PAL Saturn faded, yielding a very short European run and a complete value soaring well above loose. The Saturn conversion of Trilogy is scarcer than its PlayStation and Nintendo 64 counterparts, making it the most coveted version of the compilation among collectors.

A questionable morality

The tournament is won on skill, but its trademark remains the finishing blow: once your opponent is beaten, the game politely invites you to dispatch them in the most spectacular and bloody way possible. You perform these finishers with the care of a craftsman, turning the kill into a compulsory figure you drill to land like any other combo.
